The Impact You Will Have in This Role As the Finance Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, transparency and effectiveness of Opportunity’s financial operations. Your expertise will enable Opportunity to maintain strong governance and donor confidence across its international programs. You’ll be the key link between Opportunity’s Australian finance team, its Indian subsidiary (Dia Vikas), and implementing partners across the Global Health Program ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, donor compliance and coordination. By maintaining rigorous financial systems, you’ll directly contribute to Opportunity’s mission to end poverty, one family and one community at a time. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting – Dia Vikas Manage the outsourced financial accounting and payroll relationship of Dia Vikas. Ensure all records, payments, invoices, income and accrual are appropriately and timely recorded. Review the outsource provider’s monthly reconciliations and ensure all clearing entries are made. Prepare the monthly financial report drawing data from Dia Vikas’ cloud-based ZOHO accounting system. Prepare the annual statutory financial accounts reporting input for the parent entity (Opportunity, December year-end). Prepare in conjunction with the CFO the annual Dia Vikas budget. Act as the financial technical advisor in the preparation for the statutory Dia Vikas accounts (March year-end). Health Program Financial Tracking & Reconciliation Review and reconcile the monthly receipts and expenditure reports from implementing partners. Track partner contributions (cash and in-kind) and verify supporting documentation. Maintain central records of financial documentation across all Health partners. Ensure alignment with cost-share tracking and reporting requirements. Support fund acquittal in line with Opportunity International processes and donor requirements (e.g. Global Affairs Canada). Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports for donor submission. Support semi-annual and annual health program finance reporting, including annexes and templates. Health Administrative Coordination Maintain organized records of contracts, MoUs, procurement logs, and audit trails. Work closely with implementing partners to support project reconciliation processes, timesheet tracking, and donor compliance. Support partners in preparing for health audits and financial spot checks. Coordinate spot checks, audits, and financial reviews with implementing partners. Skills and Experience Essential Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field. CA or CPA qualifications. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and/or management reporting. Strong understanding of procurement, compliance and audit processes. Proficiency in Smartsheet; experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and cloud-based financial systems. Excellent communication and coordination skills across multicultural teams. Fluency in English (working knowledge of Hindi, Bengali, or Nepali an advantage). Desirable Experience with microfinance institutions or community health programs.
