We are currently seeking a Storeperson to join our team based at the Long Bay Forensic Hospital in Malabar. Description: $32.37 per hour as a permanent full-time employee on wages Long Bay Forensic Hospital, NSW Government site in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs Medirest provides specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals and senior living facilities. At the Long Bay Forensic Hospital , the Storeperson will be responsible for receiving, recording, storing, unpacking, and moving of goods in a loading dock environment, as well as driving and delivering to other locations. The successful person will also be responsible for all the cleaning in and around the food service storage areas. This role requires a physically fit individual applying a pro‑active approach to safety and utilisation of the equipment supplied to manage and move stock across the site. The Position Permanent, full‑time, $32.37 / hour (ordinary hours). Mon‑Fri with some exceptions. Receive, record and store all food service deliveries to Long Bay Forensic Hospital Competently and safely load and unload trucks and containers daily Operation of special purpose vehicle and towing Accuracy in rotation of stock and competent in the monthly stocktake The Person Previous experience in a similar role (no forklift use or licence required) DL – Driver Licence, must have full and valid Australian Driver Licence NPC – National Police Check holder (or be willing to obtain it) WWCC – Working With Children Check card holder (or be willing to obtain it) Visa holders are welcome to apply Please apply if you have the ability to work full‑time hours.
