Built to Desire is looking for a confident and creative Designer / Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team. You’ll work across both our showroom and client homes, managing the full design and consultation process from initial brief through to layout design, selections, and estimating. We’re a family-focused business that designs homes for real life—beautiful, functional, and deeply personal. What you’ll be doing: Meeting clients in our showroom and in their homes to understand their vision Conducting site measure-ups and consultations for kitchens, bathrooms, and interior joinery Designing functional and inspiring layouts that suit client needs and lifestyles Assisting with product selections, colour palettes, finishes, and materials Collaborating with external designers, consultants, and suppliers Occasionally working outside standard hours for client convenience (after-hours or weekends as needed) To be successful in this role, you MUST have: Proven experience in kitchen and bathroom design and sales (this is essential) Confidence managing both showroom and in-home consultations Strong knowledge of spatial planning, joinery design, and material selections Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional client approach Experience using design software (e.g. SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is a bonus A valid driver’s licence and your own transport Why join Built to Desire?
