We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner at the Proficient or Advanced level to provide positive behaviour support services. On a daily basis, you will: Assist NDIS participants and their families or carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning. Develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment. Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community. Ensure individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths. Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants—families, carers, friends, etc. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
