We’re looking for an enthusiastic and capable Venue Duty Manager to help lead our team and elevate the member and guest experience. About the Role As a Venue Duty Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the club, ensuring smooth service, confident leadership, and an exceptional customer experience from the moment guests walk through the door. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will support staff training, operational standards, cost control, and event execution. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and upskill frontline staff to deliver exceptional member and guest service. Maintain a strong customer‑first culture across all shifts. Act as the primary point of contact during service periods, resolving issues calmly and professionally. Support functions and events, ensuring seamless setup and execution. Identify opportunities for cost savings and new revenue streams. Oversee venue operations including compliance, safety, reporting, stock control, and end‑of‑day procedures. Foster a positive, supportive team environment. Must‑Haves A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering unforgettable customer experiences. Proven ability to lead and mentor staff in customer service excellence. Strong communication skills and confidence in handling customer enquiries or complaints with professionalism. Experience overseeing functions and events with a guest‑focused mindset. Ability to anticipate customer needs and proactively enhance the overall venue experience.
