Role Description As a Data Engineer, you’ll join the team that owns our AWS datalake – designing pipelines, models and frameworks that power production-grade data products and enable the business to scale. You’ll bring modern data practices into production, working with streaming, lakehouse tech and CI/CD workflows. You’ll have the autonomy to influence the direction of our data platform, working both independently and as a team player, collaborating with stakeholders to shape our next data-driven features. You’ll contribute to early groundwork that positions our data platform to adopt AI and agentic workflow capabilities as our product roadmap evolves. Qualifications 3+ years in data engineering, with experience designing and supporting production data products. Proficient in SQL and Python, with Spark and dbt experience. Demonstrable hands-on use of the AWS data stack (S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, Redshift). Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools. Comfortable with developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of lakehouse formats (Hudi/Iceberg). Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and engage effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
