Conservation and Ecosystems Management Trainer and Assessor Part time Conservation and Ecosystems Management Trainer and Assessor Position (2026) Join Yanchep Institute (RTO No 52780) and become part of our highly experienced training team. We are seeking applications from trainers and assessors who have a strong commitment to providing quality training in a supportive and professional manner. In this role you will be required to deliver professional, high quality, training delivery and assessment for students enrolled in the Certificate II in Conservation and Ecosystems Management qualification. The position is for 20 hours per week. Key responsibilities include: Deliver training and conduct assessments for assigned client groups Provide an engaging, supportive and learner-focused learning environment Make considered assessment judgement on the skills and knowledge of learners and determine their competence With a meticulous eye for detail, provide accurate training records for assigned course participants Provide support, encouragement and compassion to course participants as necessary Ensure all compliance requirements are met Skills required: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards a training and assessment credential Certificate II or Certificate III in a Conservation course or higher A minimum of 1 year working trainer and assessor in vocational education Demonstrated current knowledge and skills of the conservation industry Demonstrated knowledge of theoretical and practical foundations in conservation Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor learners Demonstrated experience working with culturally diverse clients Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to accurately complete required documentation in accordance with detailed time frames A current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one A current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain one Yanchep Institute offers modern, fully equipped training facilities and will provide you with a generous above award rate of pay.
