Pembroke School Pembroke School is a co‑educational, non‑denominational, day and boarding school from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. Pembroke is a lively and fulfilling place to work. About the Role You will inspire students in Years 7–10 by delivering engaging, challenging and conceptually rich science learning experiences. Working within a supportive faculty, you will contribute to a dynamic curriculum that encourages inquiry, creativity and scientific thinking. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering curriculum‑aligned lessons that engage students and foster scientific thinking Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeing Assessing and reporting on student progress in line with school policies Contributing to faculty planning, assessment design, and resource sharing Participating in pastoral care and co‑curricular activities as appropriate About You You are an enthusiastic and committed science educator who brings energy, curiosity and a student‑centred approach to the classroom. You build strong relationships, communicate clearly and create learning experiences that spark interest, persistence and discovery. You are collaborative by nature and committed to refining your practice through reflection, feedback and professional learning. You will bring: A genuine passion for teaching science in a middle years setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect positively with young people. An engaging, innovative and reflective teaching style that supports diverse learners. Confidence using data and assessment to inform teaching practice. Relevant tertiary qualifications and teacher registration (or eligibility) in South Australia.
