Leaders Care is seeking a hardworking and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in the Greater Sydney, NSW. As a casual Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled participants, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. What you’ll be doing Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping Providing companionship and engaging participants in recreational and social activities Advocating for client needs and communicating effectively with clients, their families, and our team Following individualised care plans and maintaining accurate records of client progress Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines What we’re looking for Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or a similar community services role A minimum of 6 months experience in aged care or disability support is required A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays A valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (preferred) Australian work rights are required for this position What we offer At Leaders Care, we are committed to supporting our employees and providing a rewarding work environment.
