To fuel this next chapter, we are looking for a talented and proactive Senior Accountant to be a cornerstone of our finance function. This is not your average number-crunching role. What You'll Do: Owning the Financial Landscape: Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for our parent company. Driving Strategic Insight: Prepare and analyze management accounts, KPIs, and variance reports, providing actionable insights to the leadership team. Business Partnering: Work closely with department heads to manage budgets, forecast future performance, and support their commercial decision-making. Ensuring Robust Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor robust financial policies and internal controls to support our scaling operations. Empowering Growth: Play a lead role in system improvements, process automation, and implementing best practices as we evolve. Managing Compliance: Oversee VAT returns, statutory reporting, and liaise with external auditors. What We're Looking For: Qualified Accountant: 5+ years of post-qualification experience. Fast-Paced Experience: Proven experience within an SME or a similarly fast-paced environment where you have worn multiple hats. Commercial Mindset: You don't just report the numbers, you ask “why” and “what does this mean for the business?”. Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills. Communication Skills: Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues. Self-Starter: Immense initiative, resilience, and passion for being part of a growing success story.
