You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team.About Gaza Ridge Health CentreThe Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana near Wodonga. The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Army’s Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas. This is a large base providing services to over 5000 Defence Force members. The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care. There is also a 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).Your ImpactWe are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a permanent part time capacity, working 3 days per week (no Fridays).As a Medical Officer, You WillDeliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnel Assess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical support Provide medical technical advice to Defence leadership Work across outpatient and inpatient care settings as needed What You’ll NeedUnrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration Minimum 2 years’ full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years Australian Citizen – for Baseline Security Clearance requirements Why Join Us?Serco is a trusted partner of the Australian Defence Force, providing integrated healthcare across 40+ bases.
