About The Opportunity We’re looking for an HR Truck Driver to join our Campbells Clayton team on a casual basis . This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicles to transport goods, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies. In this Role Operate HR vehicles in accordance with road laws and company policies Conduct pre‑start and post‑trip vehicle inspections Load and unload goods safely, using correct load restraint practices Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle Report any vehicle faults or incidents immediately Adhere to fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations Provide excellent customer service at delivery and pickup points Assist with warehouse or yard duties as required You’re Likely a Match If Hold a current and valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver’s Licence Have proven experience operating HR vehicles Understand load restraint and fatigue management requirements Communicate clearly and work well with others Are reliable, punctual, and safety‑conscious Can work independently and follow instructions Are adaptable, flexible, and self‑motivated Have a Forklift Licence (LF) and experience with multi‑drop deliveries (desirable) What’s On Offer Career Growth: Endless learning and development opportunities Inclusive Culture: Bronze Employer for LGBTQ Inclusion Neutral Pay Gap: Gender pay gap under 5% (WGEA 2024–2025) Mental Health: Gold accreditation by Mental Health Australia Flexibility: Flex Ready and Family Friendly Workplace accredited About Us Metcash is Australia’s leading wholesale distribution company, with $19.5 billion in sales (FY25) and a proud spot in the ASX Top 125.
