Role details The Medical Imaging at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Radiographer (Cardiac Cath Lab) to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity To provide high level Cardiac Catheter Laboratory radiography services as part of a multidisciplinary team including general, emergency, CT, mobile and theatre radiography; and to assist with training of students, graduates and junior staff. About the Team Our Medical Imaging Department delivers a range of services including, General Radiography (CR) and (DR), Computed Tomography (CT) (Dual Source), Ultrasound, Theatre II, Interventional Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). About our Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
