Dutt is a successful Australian-owned company with an enviable reputation as Australia's leading services provider for the retail sector who specialise in store development logistics.We specialise in 3PL with a project management solution in both retail and commercial sectors.This is our niche market. The Role Dutt is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our busy fast paced team located in Kilsyth Vic. The role will be responsible for managing the day to day warehouse operations, as well as the need to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Manage VIC warehouse activities to control the financial performance of the warehouse Efficient workforce planning optimising resources deployment and controlling operational staffing costs Manage key customer accounts and ensure customer service and satisfaction is enhanced Provide strong leadership and management to all staff, to ensure smooth functioning of the warehouse operation and compliance with all systems, policies and procedures Monitor staff performance and progress, developing a high performing engaged team within our workplace culture Review and prepare workflow, space requirements, equipment layout and action plans Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries and stock levels Reporting of warehouse utilisation and efficiencies to specific customers Maintain standards of health and safety and security. Skills & Experience: Minimum 3+ years proven experience in a fast paced Warehousing and Logistics business Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems as well as transport and logistics processes Ability to lead, drive and manage a large diverse team with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally Sound experience in Translogix, WMS Logistics and Microsoft office desirableExperience with implementing process improvement initiatives Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines and effectively balance priorities If you demonstrate the above skills and experience and are looking to join a market-leading transport company, this is the ideal opportunity for you.
