Site Supervisor/Leading Hand - Water and Wastewater ABC Civil Group targets major infrastructure projects Australia-wide by providing innovative, efficient and technologically advanced methods of construction. About the Role: ABC Civil Group is targeting a full-time Civil Construction Site Supervisor and/or Leading Hand with experience in the water and wastewater industry (WSAA & MRWA) to join our dynamic team-orientated group We are searching for a highly motivated individual to join our team, who will live our values and continue to help us make ABC Civil Group a great workplace. The incumbent will play a key role in project deliverables on site, including coordinating subcontractors, managing resourcing and programs whilst also managing safety and compliance. The role is fit for an individual with a minimum of 5+ years experience in Site Supervising, has strong technical skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is hands-on and solution-driven. Responsibilities: Programming and scheduling of resource to achieve project objectives Effectively prioritising and managing time to achieve program objectives Equipment servicing/maintenance oversight and coordination Managing contractual and commercial requirements and objectives in conjunction with senior management personnel Pre-mobilisation planning and execution Daily reporting and effectively communicating within the management team Effective problem solving and conflict resolution Involvement in employee performance reviews and new employment engagements Oversight and running of projects in conjunction with senior management Actively seeking cost saving strategies Development of construction methodologies and safe work method statements with senior management As required to top up and assist in crew structures Identifying any necessary further training requirements for field personnel Management in conjunction with senior management stakeholder relations Representation of core company values and policies Skills and Experience: Minimum five years experience in the civil construction Industry. Experience and/or accreditations working on MRWA and/or WSAA projects. Prior experience constructing pipelines for government organisations. Pump station and mechanical experience highly preferred. Prior experience managing and overseeing personnel. Must be willing to travel and live away for periods of time. Australian Drivers License. A strong commitment to Safety first culture. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and build respectful relationships at all levels. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage dynamic workload. Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work away.
