Procurement Analyst

The Organisation This is a well-known FMCG business with a strong presence in the Australian market. The organisation continues to strengthen its procurement capability, with a growing focus on data, insight and commercial discipline across its indirect and commodity spend. The Opportunity The Procurement Analyst will support the procurement team across a broad range of activities, including spend analysis, commodity pricing reviews, contract support and reporting. The role will work closely with category managers to provide clear, accurate insights that help guide commercial decisions and supplier strategies. This is a great fit for someone early in their procurement or finance career who enjoys working with data, has strong commercial instincts and wants exposure to a busy, fast‑moving FMCG environment. You’ll help bring structure and clarity to the portfolio while supporting the development of category strategies and supplier partnerships. Key areas of focus include: Managing commodity reporting and pricing reviews Supporting analysis across spend, suppliers and contract performance Providing insights to guide sourcing and commercial decision‑making Assisting the team with category planning, reporting and administration Helping strengthen procurement processes, governance and data quality Skills and Experience Required You’ll bring experience in a procurement or finance analyst position, with strong analytical capability and confidence working with data and reporting tools. Exposure to procurement processes, supplier data or commercial decision support will be viewed favourably. Clear communication, curiosity and a willingness to learn will be key to success in this role.
