– Nunile WA Casual/Temporary 8d ago , from Regional Jobs Western Australia MFS is a WA family owned and operated stock feed mill manufacturing plant which supplies both pelleted stock feed as well as loose and block licks and concentrates for animal consumption. This position requires mechanical knowledge, accurate weighing, careful use of machinery, a basic understanding of raw materials used, a good understanding of computerised systems and the ability to understand and use the computer system in a feed mill. This position, although casual, may run into full time hours depending on orders coming through. The position requires targets to be met both on a daily and weekly basis. Performing well under pressure needs to be an ability. We are looking for a person who Has a strong work ethic. A team player who enjoys operating machinery, learning new skills and working with minimal supervision. Able to receive and store raw material and comply with paperwork requirements. Can plan production fulfilling all orders on time while meeting quality standards. Is willing to supervise and train casual plant assistants. Is self‑motivated, responsible and honest. Has at least two years’ experience in manufacturing. Possesses considerable mechanical aptitude. Has a forklift licence. Is physically fit. Is willing to work as a member of a team and to do whatever tasks need to be done. Has their own reliable transport and a current driving licence. Has full working rights – no sponsorship is available. Ideally lives within the local area (within 45 minutes’ drive from the plant). High Literacy and Numeracy skills are essential.
