QA/QC Engineer

Overview Kerman Contracting is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to help deliver Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) projects for a Tier 1 client. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster, offering a fixed-term contract. Responsibilities Implements and maintains the Project Quality Plan site systems Coordinates onsite inspection and testing activities Ensures progressive monitoring, recording, tracking and collation of all quality documents for each construction discipline (including – Inspection Test Plans, Field Checklists, Construction Verification Certificates, Test Records, Commissioning Documentation, etc.) Coordinates onsite MDR documentation Monitors Completions & Commissioning Management System (CCMS) data vs actual works; manages punch list in CCMS; records and compiles deliverables on CCMS Liaises with client quality representatives as required Participates in Site Project Progress Meetings Performs quality checks on all completion documents from the contractors and staff Maintains the NCR register and coordinates responses to the client/subcontractors (external/internal NCRs) while ensuring corrective actions are completed on time Participates in periodic site quality audits Regularly communicates with Perth Head Office on-site QA/QC issues/progress About You Relevant Engineering Degree (preferable civil or mechanical) 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role A positive and team-first approach Excellent interpersonal skills About Us Kerman Contracting Pty Ltd (Kerman) is a successful West Australian company specialising in designing and constructing major industrial projects associated with Australia\'s Mining and agricultural sectors.
