Remedial Massage/Myotherapist

Overview We are seeking a talented and qualified Remedial Massage/Myotherapist to join our team at Why Knot Massage in Ballarat, Victoria. This role offers the flexibility around your own schedule and work in a supportive, client‑focused environment. Responsibilities Provide exceptional remedial massage and myotherapy treatments to our diverse client base Assess clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans to address their concerns Utilise a range of massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, cupping, pregnancy massage and dry needle therapy Educate clients on self‑care strategies and provide aftercare advice Maintain detailed client records and ensure all treatments are documented thoroughly Contribute to the overall success and growth of the clinic Qualifications & Requirements Remedial Massage, Myotherapy or equivalent recognised Australian qualification Experience working as a Remedial Massage/Myotherapist is preferred but not essential as there are multiple positions available Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and pathology Proficient in a range of techniques, including deep tissue, sports massage and trigger point therapy. Cupping, dry needle therapy, lymphatic drainage massage and pregnancy massage experience is preferred but not essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up‑to‑date with industry trends Ability to work independently and as part of a team Current registration with the Australian Private Health Fund or ability to be WWCC What we offer At Why Knot Massage, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for our team.
