Full-time or Part-time · Limestone Coast (Mount Gambier-based) About Us SEG TNG News Media, in partnership with Times News Group, is a fast‑growing independent media organisation delivering trusted local news across the Limestone Coast, Regional Victoria and Northern NSW. With strong print, digital and audio platforms, we’re passionate about: Quality local journalism Innovative storytelling Helping local businesses grow You’ll be working directly on Mount Gambier Times – the only free local newspaper printed weekly in Mount Gambier. The Opportunity We’re not just looking for the best "salesperson" – we’re looking for the right person . You’ll be: Based on the Limestone Coast , connected to our Mount Gambier office Working on local advertising solutions across print, digital and radio Offered full‑time (38 hrs) or permanent part‑time (30 hrs) Able to enjoy some work‑from‑home flexibility for the right candidate If you’re energetic, a natural communicator and love building relationships, you’ll fit right in – even if you haven’t worked in sales before. What You’ll Do Build and grow advertising partnerships with local businesses Strong local connections and established community knowledge is beneficial Package print, digital and radio advertising into impactful campaigns Create and manage a "Local Business Hotlist" of prospects Reconnect with past advertisers and grow existing accounts Introduce innovative Print + Digital and social media bundles Represent Mt Gambier Times at local events and networking opportunities Own vehicle is preferred for client visits and attending local events What You’ll Have to Work With You won’t be doing this alone. We’ll support you with: Easy‑to‑use online tools to manage leads and follow‑ups Ready‑made marketing collateral, pricing packages and case studies Admin support so you can focus on clients, not paperwork A commission structure with unlimited earning potential Your Mission Increase advertising revenue and client retention Help local businesses grow through smart, effective campaigns Be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values your ideas and creativity Ready to Apply?
