ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a dedicated and skilled GSE Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring that dnata effectively manages ground service equipment (GSE), acting as a key liaison between operations, maintenance providers, vendors and other stakeholders. The GSE Support Coordinator will support all functions related to GSE, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Triage and manage GSE defects. Perform minor repairs such as replacing bulbs, wipers, jump starts, puncture repairs, and fluid checks. Collaborate with equipment operators to conduct regular safety checks on tyres, seat belts, brakes, lights, and horns. Fleet Administration Coordinate fleet administration, including vehicle passes, defect clearance, and fuel issuance. Manage insurance requirements and schedule equipment release for preventive maintenance and inspections in compliance with regulations. Supplier Coordination and Oversight Serve as the primary contact between maintenance providers and operational teams. Report and track equipment defects, oversee maintenance work, and ensure quality checks are performed before equipment is returned to service. Support monitoring and approval processes for repairs, maintenance, and vendor expenditures. Station Support Assist operations with tasks such as headset repair, managing pins, chocks, cones, and potable water testing. Engage with airport authorities and customer airlines on GSE-related issues and projects. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Mechanical Trade Certificate (desirable) Current driver's licence Preferred experience in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding Ability to work independently and manage competing work demands Experience in airport operational ground handling or a similar environment is an advantage Why Join Us?
