Our expertise spans hydrogeology, geochemistry, geotechnical engineering, seismicity, and risk management, enabling us to assist clients in overcoming engineering challenges. We invite applications for a Geotechnical / Tailings Engineer position based in Brisbane, at 70 Bowen Street, Spring Hill, QLD . This role is ideal for a talented, experienced professional eager to contribute to and manage challenging projects, including those where we serve as the Engineer of Record. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design Geotechnical analyses using various software packages Understanding of tailing deposition modelling (Muk3D) Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems Project management and proposal support Preparation of reports, design calculations, drawings, and specifications Client development Education and Licensure Bachelor's in civil or geotechnical engineering (required) Advanced degree preferred Professional registration preferred Engineer of Record (EoR) required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience; 10+ preferred Proficiency with geotechnical software Knowledge of numerical modeling (preferred) Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills Fieldwork and travel readiness Valid Australian driver’s license Culture/EEO Statement Attractive benefits including hybrid work, monthly RDO, birthday leave, and more Diverse and positive workplace culture Global movement opportunities within Geosyntec We value diversity and encourage applicants who are willing to learn and grow with us, even if they do not meet every qualification listed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
