Position Overview We’re looking for a passionate full‑time Commis Chef to join our kitchen crew. If you’re keen to learn, love fresh local produce, and want to work where every day feels like a holiday, we want to hear from you. What you’ll do: Under the direction of the Senior Chef on shift undertake cooking, baking, pastry cooking or butchering duties, as required to a consistently high standard. Assist with maintaining the general cleanliness of the kitchen area and equipment. Assist with the training of Kitchen Attendant staff. What you’ll bring: Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in kitchen operations. A passion for your trade and for creating and presenting contemporary dishes using local produce. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Formal qualifications in commercial cookery. The ability to work productively in a fast‑paced, buzzing work environment, dealing with a high volume of covers in a short period of time. DoFoodSafely certificate of completion.
