Cyber Security Assessor / Auditor (Intermediate–Senior) Security Clearance: NV1 or NV2 Location: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide (Hybrid) Engagement: Permanent or Contract We’re building out a high-performing cyber assurance team to support some of Australia’s most secure and complex environments. We’re looking for Cyber Security Assessors and Auditors who enjoy understanding how systems really work, identifying risk with precision, and helping organisations lift their security maturity in a practical way. These roles suit professionals who are comfortable in high-assurance government and Defence-aligned environments and who take pride in producing clear, high-quality security assessments. What You’ll Be Doing Conducting ICT security risk and control assessments across varied environments Reviewing security documentation and identifying maturity and compliance gaps Delivering clear, defensible assessment and audit reports Supporting or leading cyber audits across technical and business domains Providing practical security advice to uplift cyber maturity Contributing to remediation planning and continuous improvement Engaging confidently with both technical specialists and business stakeholders What We’re Looking For Experience in cyber security assessments or audits (government, Defence or critical infrastructure) Strong working knowledge of the ACSC Essential Eight Excellent analytical writing and reporting skills Confident communicator who builds trust with stakeholders Current NV1 or NV2 security clearance For Senior Candidates, It’s a Bonus If You Have: Led complex cyber assessments or audit programs end-to-end Strong governance, risk and assurance leadership capability Experience advising and influencing senior or executive stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
