Staff Specialist in Palliative Medicine – Manning Base Hospital Permanent Part‑time, 0.8 FTE Advertising closes 25 November 2025. Be among the first 25 applicants. A dedicated consultant to provide clinical management and treatment of palliative care patients as part of an established specialist‑led palliative care team serving the Lower Mid North Coast, which services approximately 100,000 people over 3,732 km². A Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians or Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (FAChPM), or nearing completion within the next 6 months. Evidence of being a medical expert, demonstrated by recent and comprehensive experience in specialist‑led palliative medicine. About Manning Base Hospital Manning Base Hospital serves the local communities of Taree, Forster, Tuncurry and surrounding districts, operating 160 beds and providing a broad range of specialist services. Services include general medical and surgical wards, ophthalmology, urology, paediatrics, gynaecology and obstetrics, TOES, ECT, emergency, renal dialysis, orthopaedics, vascular surgery, intensive care/coronary care, peri‑operative, maternity, oncology and a new state‑of‑the‑art emergency department.
