Role Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for providing hydrogeological expertise across a range of projects in Australia and New Zealand. You’ll work collaboratively with technical specialists, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality assessments and solutions. From field investigations to data analysis and reporting, you’ll play a key role in supporting sustainable water resource management and environmental outcomes. About the Team We are looking for a Hydrogeologist to help us deliver a strong pipeline of work on high profile and challenging projects that span natural resource management to major infrastructure projects. We invest in building and sustaining trusted relationships with key clients including water authorities, resources clients, councils and government authorities, and contribute to joint ventures on road and rail projects. We are currently supporting the implementation of the Murray‑Darling Basin Plan through projects in NSW, Victoria and South Australia. Qualifications A degree in Science or Engineering Strong foundational knowledge of hydrogeology Experience conducting field activities such as bore installation, sampling, and slug testing Ideally proficiency in hydrogeological software and GIS tools Ability to author and review technical reports and risk assessments Strong communication skills and confidence in client‑facing interactions Ideally experience working within a busy multidisciplinary consultancy Ideally experience supporting the preparation of proposals Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Experience in synthesising technical data and presenting findings clearly Benefits and Flexibility Our benefits package supports employees throughout every stage of life, including paid parental leave, a lifetime financial allowance for fertility & IVF treatment, adoption and surrogacy assistance, menopause and low‑T treatment options, and a comprehensive suite of wellbeing resources.
