The Role As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be involved in the ongoing support, design, and implementation of both internal and customer network infrastructure. You’ll work on exciting projects such as building new enterprise and data centre networks, upgrading core routers, switches, and multi‑tenant firewalls, and driving automation initiatives across our platforms. You’ll also review and action change and problem requests, participate in technical projects, and ensure our network operates with maximum performance and reliability. This role is not restricted to Melbourne — we welcome applicants based in Sydney, Brisbane, or Adelaide . About You Experience in a Telco or Service Provider environment CCNP / JNCIS certification or equivalent knowledge and experience Proven experience managing Juniper and Cisco network devices (switches and routers), experience with Ciena packet and ADVA optical or transport platform is a strong bonus Strong knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and security platforms Working knowledge of technologies such as MPLS, BGP, SDN, and SD‑WAN Solid understanding of network automation and DevOps practices Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining composure under pressure Strong documentation and knowledge‑sharing mindset Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience with enterprise or data centre networking technologies. Experience delivering and implementing complex network projects Familiarity with automation‑driven network operations and infrastructure‑as‑code principles Passion for working in a dynamic, technology‑driven organisation Why 5G Networks?
