Demolition Labourers & Excavator Operator Location: Gold Coast and Northern NSWCompany: Wipeout Demolition Pty Ltd Wipeout Demolition is seeking experienced Demolition Labourers and an Excavator Operator to join our growing team. We’re a professional and safety-focused demolition company servicing South East Queensland and Northern NSW, known for our reliability, teamwork, and high standards. General Requirements White Card (General Construction Induction) – essential For the Excavator Operator role, applicants must be experienced and competent in the operation of excavators, with proven capability in the demolition of structures. For the Demolition Labourer role, applicants must be experienced and competent in general demolition labouring duties. Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations Physically fit and capable of manual labour Must have own transportation Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Excavator Operator – Key Responsibilities Safely operate excavators of various sizes for demolition, earthmoving and site preparation tasks. Carry out demolition works as directed by the site supervisor, including controlled demolition using mechanical methods. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Load, secure and prepare excavators for transport to project sites, ensuring compliance with all transport safety requirements. Follow all site safety procedures, including PPE, hazard identification, and risk management practices. Assist with the setup and preparation of demolition sites, including barricades, signage, and access control. Communicate effectively with the site team to coordinate work and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance and any incidents or issues. Demolition Labourer – Key Responsibilities Assist in the safe and efficient execution of demolition works under the direction of supervisors. Handle, move and dispose of demolition debris in accordance with site safety and environmental procedures. Set up and maintain site barricades, signage and safety measures as required. Operate hand tools, power tools and other equipment safely to support demolition activities. Support machinery operators and other tradespeople as needed. Follow site safety protocols, including the use of PPE, hazard reporting, and risk management. Maintain a clean and organised worksite, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
