Freelance Digital Catalogue Designer Location: Hybrid (some on‑site collaboration required) Start date: ASAP Start Duration: Approx. 2–3 weeks We’re looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking designer to help us transform a traditional print catalogue for one of our clients into a digital‑first experience. This project goes beyond a straightforward redesign — we want to reimagine how customers interact with a catalogue in a digital environment. About The Project You’ll take an existing print catalogue and explore how it can become an engaging, interactive digital experience. This will involve thinking through digital structure, hierarchy, and UX — and finding creative ways to enhance the customer journey through: Interactivity and animation Sharing and social integration Video and motion elements Filtering, search, and navigation improvements You’ll work closely with our internal team to refine and build out these ideas, create mockups, and develop polished visuals that align with the client’s brand guidelines. What You’ll Do Conceptualise and design a digital‑first version of a print catalogue Develop mockups and prototypes to showcase interactivity and UX flow Translate brand guidelines into engaging, digital‑ready visuals Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and refine concepts Prepare presentation‑ready materials for client review About You A talented designer who can work quickly, creatively, and proactively Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator Some familiarity with After Effects (for motion concepts) is a plus Experience or understanding of UX design principles Confident working independently and liaising with stakeholders directly Working arrangements This will be a hybrid role — ideally, you’ll join us in person at key stages of the project (kickoff, reviews, etc.) but can work remotely for much of the time. We expect the project to run for about 2–3 weeks, with some flexibility depending on pace and deliverables. You’ll be supported during the initial phase, and by the end of November, you should feel confident collaborating directly with our internal team while the project lead is on leave.
