About the Role The Clinical Nurse Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standard of clinical care for our residents. Working closely with the Facility Manager and leading a dedicated clinical team, you will oversee the coordination, delivery, and evaluation of resident‑focused care. You will drive continuous improvement, uphold clinical governance standards, and foster a culture of compassion, professionalism, and teamwork. This role is critical to achieving safe, high‑quality care outcomes and ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Rosewood’s clinical governance framework. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support the Care Team (Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Carers) to deliver exceptional, resident‑focused care. Ensure clinical assessments, care plans, and documentation accurately reflect residents’ current needs and support optimal care outcomes. Coordinate and evaluate care delivery to maintain high clinical standards and resident satisfaction. Liaise with doctors and allied health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care. Monitor and manage clinical performance indicators, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and address education and competency needs of staff to build a skilled, confident, and compliant workforce. Support and participate in the management of clinical incidents, complaints, and open disclosure processes. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards, and Rosewood policies. Effectively manage clinical resources and adhere to budgetary guidelines. Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive culture that embodies Rosewood’s values. About You You are a compassionate and experienced nursing professional with strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to delivering person‑centred care. You thrive in a collaborative environment, bring sound clinical judgment, and are driven by continuous improvement and service excellence. Selection Criteria Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. Preferred five years’ experience at a Clinical Nurse level. Proven experience in aged care or similar industry. Strong leadership and supervisory experience in care delivery settings. Sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN‑ACC) funding model. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills. Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
