Project Manager / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services / MEP – Southampton, Hampshire – Hybrid Working (2 days from home) Salary: £50k – £60k DOE. Benefits include pension, flexible working hours, and cycle to work schemes. Responsibilities Work as part of a design team delivering detailed design. Provide project management and mechanical design expertise. Liaise closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in‑house and external project teams. Attend a range of project group and technical meetings. Ensure that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health‑and‑safety requirements. Oversee and supervise the installation of building systems and specify maintenance and operating procedures. Use specialist computer‑aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for the project. Carry out condition surveys and provide recommendation reports to clients. Qualifications Accredited Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND) in mechanical engineering. Post‑education experience in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering, including running projects that involve project‑management calculations, drawings, specifications, etc. Experience with industry standard software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
