About the Role We are seeking an experienced and qualified Contract Assessor to join our team supporting students undertaking the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) . In this role, you will work closely with students completing their work placement , conducting Zoom meetings to facilitate the assessment process and evaluate their practical skills and competencies. You will also be responsible for the grading of student work placement portfolios and may have opportunities to assess additional coursework and assessments within the Certificate III Individual Support qualification, depending on demand and experience. This area of the organisation is currently very active, offering a great opportunity for motivated assessors to contribute to a busy and rewarding education environment. Demonstrated experience in assessing vocational education qualifications in the Aged Care and Disability Support sectors. Current industry experience in Australia within the Aged Care and Disability Support sectors, maintaining industry currency in line with ASQA requirements. Comprehensive understanding of the National Standards for RTOs (2015) . Strong knowledge of relevant national and state legislation relating to aged care, disability, and community services. One of the following qualifications: TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 (or successor) or TAEASS502 (or successor), OR TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher qualification in Adult Education). Vocational competencies at least to the level being assessed. Strong administrative and digital literacy skills, including proficiency in MS Word , MS Excel , Google Docs , and Google Sheets . Ability to demonstrate compliance with ASQA Standard 1.13 , including: Vocational competencies at least to the level being assessed. Current industry skills directly relevant to the assessment. Up-to-date knowledge and skills in vocational training and assessment. Experience using Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Catapult, or similar platforms. Experience facilitating assessments via Zoom or other virtual meeting tools. Strong organisational and communication skills, with a focus on student engagement and support. Why Upskilled?
