This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about solving complex technical challenges in hospital and medical settings. Employment: Permanent Full Time Department: Medical Devices, Healthcare What You Will Do Serve as the first point of contact for technical support across software, hardware, and connectivity issues Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 & Tier 2 issues using remote tools and hands-on troubleshooting Manage support requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication Collaborate with field service, installation, and project teams to implement and maintain STERIS solutions Assist with planning, setup, configuration, updates, and commissioning of IT systems Analyse logs and system data to prevent recurring issues and support escalations Provide after-hours support when required Contribute to tender submissions and respond to customer RFIs Maintain detailed documentation and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders Deliver training and proactive communication to empower users and improve system adoption The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed Minimum 1 year of technical experience (or 3+ years without a degree) Strong knowledge of IT, networking, and cybersecurity Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Valid Australian Driver’s License and relevant background checks Preferred: CompTIA certifications Scripting knowledge Familiarity with HL7, XML, JSON, and AV technologies STERIS is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care with an emphasis on infection prevention.
