About the Role BaptistCare Kintyre Lodge is seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to support meal preparation and service delivery during mealtimes. All meals are cooked fresh onsite by our professional catering team, with a variety of nutritionally balanced menu options available each day. About BaptistCare Kintyre Lodge Located in the vibrant regional city of Dubbo, Kintyre Lodge is a welcoming, homely aged care home offering 81 single bedrooms. We provide 24‑hour care and support to residents, including residential respite, and feature a specialised Memory Care Wing for those living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Our lifestyle team runs a fun and stimulating leisure activities program that includes bingo, exercise classes, craft, games, and outings, with options for residents to participate as much or as little as they like. Responsibilities Serve food and beverages. Clean kitchen, dining and café areas and equipment. Take orders and operate POS and EFTPOS systems (if applicable). Assist with food preparation and reheating meals. Ensure meals are delivered correctly and on time. Cater to dietary requirements and follow the site Food Safety Program. Qualifications Experience working with food and cleaning chemicals. Strong communication and time‑management skills. Ability to work under pressure with empathy and patience.
