We are expanding and seeking 5 x Fuel Operators to join the team at the Darwin RAAF base, NT. This is a unique opportunity to work within a team of defence personnel while benefiting from working with a Tier 1 service provider. Responsibilities Reporting to the OA, an operator will be tasked with various operational and functional roles around the installation Responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of the aviation and/or ground fuel installations Lead a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing Experience in similar environment would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments What you will Need Along with experience relevant to the role above, you will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee. Defence specific training will be advantageous, however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded) Safety is at the forefront of everything you do Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance Live locally, or willing to relocate to the Darwin region (close-proximity to Darwin) What we Offer This is an opportunity to join UGL as a full-time employee, on a long-term contract within the Defence sector.
