Job Description We are looking for passionate and proactive trade professionals, who thrive in a busy environment and are willing to work hard to succeed in their roles to join our ASP Level 1 Overhead team As a member of our Level 1 ASP construction department, you will work with our overhead team across multiple projects and support your site supervisor and project manager to meet the expectations of our clients and stakeholders. You will perform skilled reactive maintenance, system alterations, upgrades and new works on the Essential Energy network. Why Gosling Group? Key Responsibilities Safely undertake works associated with the construction, commissioning, operating and maintenance of overhead distribution systems in accordance with your training and scope of authorization Use, interpret and apply complex or advanced drawings and diagrams Use a variety of locating and fault-finding equipment Undertake all required safety processes and documentation, safety responsibilities and ensure the health and safety of yourself and others Participate in daily toolbox meetings Ensure all site requirements are adhered to Comply with all laws and regulations associated with the electrical industry Drive and operate company vehicles and mobile plant Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications & Skills Certificate III in Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead Demonstrated experience working as an overhead linesman Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR, HC or MC - unrestricted) Construction Industry Induction (White Card) Experience working in tight-access areas in and around essential services Full Australian working rights without any restrictions About You Strong work ethic Great interpersonal, communication and leadership skills You love a challenge and value being part of a successful team Strong problem-solving ability You are physically fit and can perform a range of activities including: climbing ladders and steps; moving heavy objects using correct lifting and manual handling techniques; perform tasks that require bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, balancing & reaching overhead You thrive on making an impact and have a genuine "can do" attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
