Accelerated learning programs to gain your professional qualifications (Cert 3). Paid CPR and First Aid courses. What We’re Looking For Enjoy having variety in your day. Are passionate about providing excellent service. Can build positive relationships with clients and their families. Don’t sweat the small stuff—can handle client mood or traffic delays calmly. Are comfortable working independently and know when to seek manager support. In Addition, You Will Need An open Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle. A valid Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP). Experience of 3 months or more in a similar role. The Role In the role of Home Care Worker, you will be providing aged care clients with home help services such as: General housekeeping and making beds. Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors. Washing, folding and ironing laundry. Meal preparation and grocery shopping. Additionally, you will provide personal care services such as: Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day. Assisting with mobility and therapy goals. Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia. Providing social and emotional support. Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments. Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
