We are a 13,800 patient practice with 4 GP Partners and a strong, supportive nursing team. We use SystmOne. Main Duties Routine injections Child immunisations Travel risk assessment, immunisations, and advice Cytology Wound care Removal of sutures Chronic disease management (Asthma) About Us The nursing team is made up of four Practice Nurses and two health care assistants, along with a phlebotomy team who work mornings. The practice is progressive and supportive of staff development both in house and externally. Details Date posted: 10 November 2025 Salary depends on experience Contract: Permanent Working pattern: Part-time Reference number: A Job locations: Barking Road, Needham Market, Ipswich, IP6 8EZ Job Description Job responsibilities include: Wound care, vaccinations & injections, ECGs, cervical screening, travel and blood tests as well as long term condition reviews (we use eConsult to support these). Person Specification Experience (Desirable) Experience with diabetes treatment, hypertension, asthma and COPD would be an advantage. Qualifications (Essential) You must be a qualified and registered adult, child, mental health or learning disability nurse to work in general practice. You will also need to be willing to undertake further training and education to keep up to date.
