People & Culture Operations Manager Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation, committed to supporting our community. A newly established role has been created within the business and, St John NT is looking to recruit a self-motivated and people orientated leader to join their People & Culture team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between the operational and strategic goals of the business, our operations and our people. Reporting to the Director People & Culture, you will work with the Executive Leadership Team, operational department leaders and key stakeholders to provide exceptional people delivery and operational support services to the business. The People & Culture Operations Manager will be seen as a trusted advisor within the business, working closely with the Director People & Culture on key strategic people initiatives. About the role, you will : Oversee all employee relations and industrial relations matters including complex case management, grievances, disputes, mediation and investigations and directly manage all complaints with senior management Negotiate, mediate and monitor industrial relations and Enterprise Agreement issues Oversee the recruitment, selection and induction process including on-boarding Develop a Learning & Development Framework that provides all of our leaders with soft skills development Establish and maintain a comprehensive Performance Management system Foster an environment and organisational culture which encourages and enables change, innovation and improvement to deliver St John NT strategic direction, community expectations and staff performance and satisfaction What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualifications in business, HR, Industrial Relations, Law or related field A minimum of 10 years experience in HR Management positions within a complex, medium to large size organisation Proven leadership, people management and coordination skills at management level Demonstrated experience with HRIS reporting systems including implementation, continuous management and improvement Demonstrated highly developed communication and consultation skills to enable interaction with a wide variety of key stakeholders Demonstrated high level ability to interpret and related Fair Work legislation affecting the organisation, and good knowledge and understanding of current HR systems and processes in Australia.
