2026 Apprenticeship - Vehicle Spray Painting At Bruce Rock Engineering (BRE), we design, build, and maintain world-class road transport equipment made tough for the Australian outback. About the Role As a Vehicle Spray Painting Apprentice, you’ll learn the skills and techniques to deliver high-quality paint finishes on a range of heavy vehicle and trailer components. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople and be supported to achieve your qualification. Duration: Full time, four year apprenticeship, combining on the job training and TAFE block release training Location: Forrestfield, WA 6058 Key responsibilities include: Preparing vehicle surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and masking Learning accurate paint mixing ratios and colour matching techniques Applying primers, topcoats, and clear finishes to vehicle surfaces Inspecting and rectifying surface defects to ensure premium quality Collaborating with experienced painters to meet production timelines Following all workplace health and safety procedures About You A strong work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learn A genuine interest in developing a career within the trade area Reliable transport and current driver’s licence is desirable Valid forklift ticket or willingness to obtain one Basic to intermediate computer literacy Why BRE?
