Job Description Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position. Location Weipa, Queensland. Practice Information Practice: A fully accredited boutique GP service located in a wealthy mining town. Under 2,000 patients. Work Hours 6 hours per day and 30 hours per week work. 5 weeks holiday. No afterhours work. Practice Features Practice is set up to support the lifestyle. Work 6 hours. 7 hours / day 5 days a week only. Accommodation Fully furnished accommodation is available to rent. Child friendly town. Remote with average $50,000 per annum government incentive, in addition to the salary. Opportunity to learn multiple procedural skills. Partner can work at the practice in a clinical or non‑clinical role if this is a requirement. Position Description Work in a friendly and supportive environment, sharpen your skills. You set the pace. Work between 9 am to 4 pm work. Life balance is the key. Supervision & Teaching Supervision and teaching are part of the position from a well‑qualified and experienced GP. Skills Development Extraskills in the skin and muscle area available to learn. Telehealth is provided for 30% of the consultants. Truly relaxing and stress‑free work environment where you are extremely well rewarded. Qualifications & Experience APHRA registration. Prior experience is preferable. After Hours Requirements: No Salary Information: $110,000 - $250,000 per annum or 75% of the billings. About Weipa 5,000 regular residents, 10,000 tourists during dry season. Has country's largest rural school. Multiple recreational facilities. BCFing is what we do for recreation. Workplace Overview 4‑wheel drive capital of the country. Fully equipped hospital with 6 doctors and birthing unit. Average income of the town is more than 100k. Very high disposable income meaning no payment issues. Facilities Good flight services (16 flights/week to Cairns). Good supermarket / hardware / post office and banking services are available.
