This position offers a 12‑month contract with 3 days per week. Clinicians at this level are competent practitioners with at least two years clinical experience, capable of working under minimal professional supervision with independent professional judgement on routine clinical matters. The successful applicant will deliver high‑quality clinical services, including oral health education, to eligible clients in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District at Kogarah Community Dental Clinic. Selection Criteria Current registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Minimum two years postgraduate experience in dentistry with demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement. Demonstrated competence in managing patients with complex medical conditions and/or oral health needs. Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public. Understanding and commitment to a preventive/population health approach to patient care. Willingness to participate in quality improvement and clinical research activities as required. Commitment to continuing education and professional development. Experience in treating patients under general anaesthetic, useful.
