About the Role As a Property Underwriter, you will manage and grow a portfolio of property risks while strengthening relationships with key broker partners. This market-facing role requires confidence in engaging with brokers, providing underwriting guidance, and representing the agency at industry events, presentations, and conferences. Benefits to Successful Applicants: Supportive team with strong technical leadership Genuine career development opportunities within a growing agency Exposure to high-performing broker networks Sydney based with hybrid flexibility – 2 days WFH Duties & Responsibilities Underwrite property risks within your delegated authority Build, manage, and maintain strong broker relationships Provide market-facing support via phone, email, and in-person meetings Attend industry functions, broker visits, and conferences Handle new business, renewals, and endorsements efficiently Offer clear, timely, and commercially sound advice to brokers Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and technical underwriting We Are Looking For Someone With: Minimum 2 years’ underwriting experience in property, SME or related lines Strong relationship-building skills with brokers and stakeholders Confident communication skills both over the phone and face-to-face Market-facing experience (or a strong desire to step into that environment) Ability to balance risk selection, service, and commercial decision-making High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset Team-orientated approach with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes If you think this could be the role for you then please apply now Or, if you have any questions please contact Helena Lo from Fuse Recruitment on (or email ).
