Rail Infrastructure Planner

Overview Rail Infrastructure Planner (High Voltage) role at Public Transport Authority. Responsible for planning and coordinating work near high voltage equipment, ensuring safe isolation of traction distribution system. Responsibilities Plan and schedule work on or near Overhead Line Equipment (OLE), ensuring alignment with train operations and compliance with isolation procedures. Create accurate entries in the Isolation Form Database, generate work orders in CMMS, and produce performance reports. Support procedural improvements and provide advice, training, and support to staff on Permit‑to‑Work processes and safe working near OLE. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling work on or near OLE equipment with strong knowledge of traction power systems and infrastructure. Ability to interpret OLE/electrical drawings, provide technical advice, and execute safety‑critical planning with high accuracy and detail. Proven capability to lead and supervise teams, ensuring deadlines are met and high‑quality standards maintained. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to resolve issues and deliver outcomes under pressure. Excellent analytical, organisational and computer skills, including experience with CMMS and Microsoft Excel, and ability to manage competing priorities.
