Enterprise Architect We currently seek an Enterprise Architect to provide strategic IT guidance, road maps, principles, standards and best practices. The role is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of an architectural framework, which is purpose built, but drawing on relevant existing best practice. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible, along with the rest of the Architecture team, for developing and maintaining the IT architecture and providing architecture governance and will support the Architecture team by providing leadership and direction for the enterprise technology architecture and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, analytical and delivery skills with a strong leadership background. Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain the architectural framework including standards, processes and templates Conduct and participate effectively in governance forums ensuring architectural governance is adhered to Develop and maintain enterprise solution artefacts necessary to guide project and delivery teams across the business Develop and execute functionally aligned strategies, frameworks, roadmaps and architecture for application systems considering materiality of enhancement Provide input to the Project Delivery process to ensure all new or upgraded systems are compliant with architectural standards, guidance and non‑functional requirements Provide leadership and manage the work activities for Commercial‑off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) and Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) applications including new solutions and enhancement of existing systems Experience Proven experience in development and implementation of architecture frameworks and processes across the IT function Extensive experience in medium to large enterprises delivering fit for purpose applications in complex essential services environment Strong financial and governance experience including managing complex projects Proven technical knowledge of technology, data and integration capabilities with exposure to the latest Digital and Cloud technologies Proven experience developing EA plans and roadmaps, and technology blueprints Working experience with a range of modern enterprise‑class technologies Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire senior stakeholders, collaborate effectively, manage expectations with a variety of behavioural and personality types at all levels Advanced written & verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret customer business needs and translate into technical & operational requirements TOGAF Certification Experience in Energy or Utilities sector If you have the necessary skills, and experience to fulfill this opportunity HIT the APPLY button, or email #J-18808-Ljbffr
