Mental Health / Behavioural Support Worker – NSW 2318 Rates: $33–$60 per hour (depending on experience and shift type) About the role: Providing consistent weekend support for a young NDIS participant with Autism (Level 3), ADHD, Developmental Delay, and Type 1 Diabetes. Work one‑on‑one to ensure safety, stability, and structure across home and community settings. Ideal candidate has strong behavioural management skills, experience supporting non‑verbal individuals, and confidence assisting with diabetes care (Dexcom monitoring and insulin awareness). Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 behavioural and personal support Implement positive behaviour strategies and safe redirection techniques Support daily routines, sensory activities, and community outings Monitor and assist with diabetes management (training provided) Maintain clear communication with family and care team Shifts Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (plus 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM every 2–3 weeks) Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Requirements Experience with Autism (Level 3) and complex behaviours NDIS Worker Screening Check & Police Check Working With Children Check (WWCC) First Aid & CPR Current driver’s licence and comprehensive car insurance Behavioural or restraint training highly regarded Why Join Us Competitive pay ($33–$60/hr) Ongoing, consistent weekend shifts Supportive coordination and clear behaviour management plans If you’re patient, reliable, and passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
