To find out more, visit us at architectus.com.au.About the RoleWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate to join our team in a pivotal leadership role. If you are passionate about architectural design and have a strong background in Defence Projects, we encourage you to explore this opportunity. In this role, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including:Delivering architectural design and documentation for highly complex projects, with a particular focus on Defence Projects.Leading a small team on selected projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of design and execution.Providing strong leadership to direct reports and employees within the sector, actively developing, mentoring, and coaching your team.Utilising advanced technical or specialist knowledge to recommend technical solutions and improvements on projects.Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients and external contacts, actively identifying and pursuing opportunities for new business.Applying extensive working knowledge of architectural principles, practices, codes, and regulations to ensure high-quality work and staying up-to-date on industry trends and research.Actively contributing to the sector's success through sub-sector strategy plans, continuous improvement initiatives, or business development, positively impacting the studio's culture and employee engagement.Working closely with senior project leads to develop design intent and ensure design excellence.Managing the delivery of approved technical and design document production.Inputting and performing network development, knowledge management, operational improvement, and design review processes initiatives.About YouWe are excited to welcome someone with the following qualifications:Demonstrated experience on Defence projects.6+ years post-graduate experience, with registration preferred.Design-focused, with a passion for leading the front end of projects and participating in concept design/design competitions.Proven ability to lead and mentor a team effectively, fostering collaboration and growth.Exceptional design communication skills, adept at conveying design concepts through imagery and diagrams to diverse stakeholders.Extensive proficiency in Revit, with a track record of 5-10 years of experience on complex architectural projects.Employee BenefitsAs part of Architectus, you’ll thrive within our supportive, diverse and welcoming studio culture.
