City of Bunbury Events and Tourism – Bunbury WA Range of Duties Set up of event area (including duties such as putting up signage and flags, preparing marquees, setting up of umbrellas, setting up chairs/tables). Assist in the Information Tent with answering questions and handing out flyers. Assist with activity/entertainment delivery as required. Check and report to the Volunteer Supervisor any hazards around the event area, report and rectify them if able. Pack down of event area including general clean up. Strictly adhere to the safety protocols as directed by the Volunteer Supervisor. Any duties outside of those specified above are strictly prohibited from being performed. Role Information The role is voluntary, it is not a paid position. As a Volunteer you will have the chance to share your skills and knowledge with the local community and Bunbury visitors. You will gain the opportunity to learn new skills, enhance your knowledge and develop hands‑on experience within the work area of your role. You will receive training and ongoing support in your role. You will get the chance to connect with like-minded people. You play an important role in supporting our organisational vision Bunbury: welcoming and full of opportunities.
