Alt.vfx is on the hunt for an experienced and passionate VFX Production Assistant to join our world-class team. The ideal candidate thrives on maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members, as well as supporting a world class visual effects production crew creating stunning visuals for clients worldwide across commercials, film and television. Tasks: Assists and supports Producers, Production Manager, and Production Coordinator in day-to-day activities, general production errands, and tasks on assigned projects. Acts as an assistant to the Production Coordinator and Producer to help follow up on items after dailies and internal meetings note taking and information gathering in meetings, dailies and on the VFX floor Setting up dailies sessions, notifying crew of dailies times and location, Dailies notes taking and distribution to artists Updating production scheduling software such as Flow Production Tracking and Farmers Wife Maintains project management software such as Shotgrid (Flow Production Tracking) when relevant Working closely with IO managing outsource brief requests and maintaining contact with vendors regarding feedback, working within the milestones/timelines of the project. Other duties as defined by Production, such as general personal tasks (client services, staff lunches, etc) Software: GSuite Farmers Wife Flow Production Tracking (Formally ShotGrid) Microsoft (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Skills: Being able to communicate clearly and professionally with crew Works well under pressure High attention to detail Willingness to learn In this role you will work with Alt’s team of producers, supervisors and artists to provide our clients with an exceptional quality of work and experience.
