Location Sydney, Australia Role Summary and Scope We’re establishing a new Inside Sales Representative function at Cloudflare to drive net new business across the small and midsize market. You’ll run the full sales cycle from first outreach to close while building a solid understanding of Cloudflare’s platform and help customers solve real, technical problems while creating revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions globally. What you will do Own the full 360 sales process for SMB prospects to achieve revenue targets. Source, qualify and prioritise new opportunities through consistent outreach and strong discovery. Deliver clear, value‑led sales conversations that show how Cloudflare improves security and application performance. Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations to reach outcomes that support both customer needs and Cloudflare goals. Work closely with Sales Engineers, Customer Success and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting and a reliable weekly sales rhythm to hit targets. Bring customer insights back into the team to refine messaging, positioning and outbound strategy. What you will bring Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of B2B sales experience with proven success in new business development. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to explain Cloudflare’s value in simple, compelling terms. Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proactive approach to outbound prospecting and building pipeline. Strong discovery and qualification skills using frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC. Solid organisation skills and confidence managing multiple deals at different stages. Collaborative approach and comfort working with both technical and non‑technical teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Eligibility to work in the country of hire. Why Cloudflare Project Galileo: Since 2014, we’ve equipped more than 2,400 journalism and civil society organisations in 111 countries with powerful tools to defend themselves against attacks that would otherwise censor their work. This technology is already used by Cloudflare’s enterprise customers at no cost. Athenian Project: In 2017, we created the Athenian Project to ensure that state and local governments have the highest level of protection and reliability for free, so that their constituents have access to election information and voter registration. Since the project, we’ve provided services to more than 425 local government election websites in 33 states. 1.1.1.1: We released 1.1.1.1 to help fix the foundation of the Internet by building a faster, more secure and privacy‑centric public DNS resolver. This is available publicly for everyone to use— it is the first consumer‑focused service Cloudflare has ever released. We do not store client IP addresses or sell user data to advertisers.
